The school accepts students between the ages of 2 Years and 10 years. The school academic administration is structured as follows:
The Nursery Section
The Nursery section of Source of Wisdom Schools is a specially-prepared learning environment which is specially equipped to nurture our children aged 2 years to 5+ and lay a solid foundation to prepare them for higher learning at the primary school level.
Our Nursery classes are divided into four levels:
- Pre-Nursery Class (2 years+)
Nursery 1 Class (3 years+)
Nursery 2 Class (4 years+)
Nursery 3 Class (5 years+)
The teaching approach is a play way method that is learner-centred. It utilizes lots of visuals and teaching aids to bring learning closer to the child. Elements of the Montessori Method are also utilized where the children are allowed independence and freedom in learning and yet are guided to keep them within reasonable limits whilst respecting their natural psychological development.

Focus is put into building the following:
- Personality Traits

These are all carefully planned and structured in the teaching plans to ensure wholesome learning for the children.
The Primary Section
The years in the primary section are programmed to achieve a high level of functionality and effectiveness in the core skills which include: reading, oral and written communication, enquiry and research, and dexterity with numbers. These factors are crucial to the growth and future effectiveness of the children. In addition, their minds are challenged and more skills developed through exposure to extracurricular activities in the school clubs, through sports and other mind engaging games such as chess, scrabble and Bible Trivia. They are taught to inquire, use and apply skills learned and develop independent minds that can stand the test of challenges the external world may pose.
The Primary Section of Source of Wisdom Schools School runs a curriculum that is a fusion of the Nigerian curriculum and elements of the British curriculum. The fusion is child centred and teacher friendly. It properly engages the children in cognitive and effective areas to equip them with needed knowledge and skills to be relevant globally. The curriculum facilitates the development children’s learning through a programme based on learning objectives which are specific statements of what children should know, be able to do or develop an understanding of. The goals are attained as the pupils undergo learning in the various subject units.
During the years through this section, we seek to provide the child with a conducive and stimulating learning environment and build their self-esteem and self-confidence. At this level, the demand for self-discipline and personal organization are raised and responsibilities are increased at both individual and group level. A solid foundation is created at this level to ensure a smooth transition into the secondary school.
